SYRIA, Cyrrhestica. Damascus. Philip I, with Otacilia Severa and Philip II. AD 244-249. Æ 30mm (16.67 g, 1h). Confronted busts of Philip I, laureate, draped, and cuirassed, and Philip II, smaller, radiate, draped, and cuirassed, vis à vis / Diademed and draped bust of Otacilia Severa right, resting on a crescent; below, ram running right. Cf. SNG München 1019 (same obv. die); BMC -; SNG Copenhagen -; cf. SNG Righetti 2657. Good Fine, dark green patina with a few deposits. Very rare.
